Yesterday was a busy day down on The Farm. There was floral work for The Country Club of North Carolina's Member/Guest Tournament, floral work for a party for General Motors executives at The Holly Inn and Sterling Transport's Second Annual Safety Day.
Sterling Transport is a trucking company that transports propane and natural gas up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Under the leadership of President and co-owner, Hugh Hinton, Jr., Sterling has set up a system to reward safety in the workplace and, in particular, amongst it's drivers. On Safety Day drivers draw for prizes in drawings weighted to reward the safest drivers.
For the second time in as many years, Maggie was pleased to help the employees and families of Sterling Transport enjoy great food by White Rabbit Catering, live music by The McKenzie Brothers and lots and lots of prizes.
